Billy Gene Bricker

Billy Gene Bricker, 81, of Anderson, died January 27, 2016 at Community Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born March 14, 1934 in Daleville, to Virgil and Kady (Baker) Bricker.
He worked at Container Corporation for more than 30 years before retiring from the shipping department in 1998. He also worked for H. & H. Paper Corp.
He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jean (Fox) Gray Bricker, Anderson, whom he married November 30, 1979; children, Sylvia (Donald) Young, David (Susan) Bricker, Anita (Ron) White, Sherry (Brian) Ditton, Randy (Denise) Bricker, Laura (Preston) Ellis, Betty (David) VanDevander, two stepsons, Steve (Karen) Gray and Terry (Debbie) Gray; several grandchildren; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ted Bricker; sisters, Sherry Ann Bricker, Katherine Stottlemeyer, Mary Jane Mosier and Betty Bricker; two stepsons, Mike Gray and Dennis Gray; grandson, Jerry Dean Young and a great granddaughter, Cora Beth Ratliff.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2016 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Bob Adams of Bethany Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery in Daleville.
Visitation will be Monday from noon until the service at the funeral home.
