Elaine Tyson Duncan, 87, passed away Wednesday morning, January 27, 2016 at her Yulee residence.
Mrs. Duncan was born August 18, 1928 in Adel, GA and moved to Yulee 45 years ago from Jacksonville, FL. She was a person who like to stay busy. She enjoyed fishing and was very devoted to her family. She was a member of the local Sportsman's Club.
Mrs. Duncan was predeceased by her husband, James K. Long; a daughter, Peggy Sapp and a granddaughter, Stacie Long.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Long and Denise Manning; a sister, Sharon Waller; four grandchildren, Dennis Long, Whitney Nelson, Dallas Nelson and Dakoda Manning; and two great grandchildren, Anthony Wilkinson and Italia Wilkinson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Green Pine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral Home.
