Gregory Wilbur, age 32, of Fitchburg, formerly of Weymouth passed away after a brief struggle with cancer. Greg was born in Boston and in his early years spent much time there with family. He moved to Weymouth with his family where he was raised and lived until 2008 when he moved to Fitchburg. Greg loved outdoor activities such as Ultimate Frisbee and photography. He had an amazing presence; funny, quick witted, social, and will always be remembered for his sense of humor.
Greg is the beloved son of Donald Wilbur of Mashpee and the late Jeanne (Dowling). Loving brother to Chris Wilbur of Braintree and Mike Wilbur of Fitchburg, cherished step-son of Marilyn Wilbur of Mashpee, devoted nephew to Denise Sullivan and her husband Tom, Danton Wilbur and his wife Janice, Dana Wilbur and his wife Pam. Greg’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Angela Douglas who has been like family to Greg over the past several years. Greg is also survived by many loving cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hour for Greg on Saturday January 30, 2016 from 8:30-9:30 AM at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth, MA. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 9:30.
