Obituary

Richard W. Estes age 50, of Millis and formerly of Natick, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the West Medical Center in Natick.
He was the beloved husband of Jeanette A (Condlin) Estes, sharing 19 years of marriage.
Born in Natick he was the son of the late Thomas and Jean (Hedges) Estes.
Mr. Estes had worked for the Town of Framingham as Highway Supervisor in the Public Works Department. He had also previously worked for the Town of Wellesley and Town of Brookline Department of Public Works.
Richard attended Framingham State College where played football. He was a graduate of Natick High School class of 1983 and was a standout football player on the undefeated Massachusetts Division I Super Bowl Champion team and also played basketball and baseball.
He carried his love of sports into coaching football for Millis and Norfolk, soccer in Millis and Comets Hockey in Natick.
Mr. Estes was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy serving for 8 years and participated in the First Gulf War against Iraq in Operation Desert Shield.
Most important in Richards life was his family and being involved and supporting his children’s school and sports activities.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons Gregory Estes,Ryan Estes one daughter Samantha Estes all of Millis, two brothers, David Estes and his wife Cheryl of Derry NH, Robert Alan Estes of Framingham and many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Wednesday, February 3rd at 11:00 A.M. in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common.
Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
