Wilson J. Gilliland, 82, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016.
He was retired from Louisville Gas & Electric Co. after 33 years of service, Air Force veteran of Korea and member of Fairdale Masonic Lodge # 942.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Delana (Wilson) Gilliland; children, David J. Gilliland (Dee Dee), Timothy W. Gilliland (Julie) and Janice A Walthall (Dennis Corolla); brother, Jackie Lee Gilliland (Fayrene); sister, Joyce F. Snell (Robert); grandchildren, Lindsey , Jeffrey Walthall, Megan Snyder, Tyler, Alexandra Gilliland (Sam); great-grandchildren, Makenzi, Ariauna, Gabriella, Audriana, Maddie and Benson.
Funeral service will be Friday 3:00 P.M. at Morris and Hislope Funeral Home, U.S. Highway 27 North, Science Hill, Kentucky; with burial in Somerset Cemetery.
Visitation Friday 12 Noon until 3:00 P.M. at Morris and Hislope Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Thursday 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky.
