Barbara A. (Cody) Levins passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 23 after a long illness, throughout which she was lovingly cared for by her family. Born in Somerville and a graduate of Somerville High School, she lived in Dorchester for a number of years before moving to Milton over 30 years ago. A loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother, she was a former Girl Scout Leader at St. Ambrose Church, Dorchester. Mrs. Levins is survived by her beloved husband Paul A. Levins of Milton, her devoted children; Robert W. Levins of Quincy, Dr. Paul C. Levins & his wife Mika of Los Angeles, Neil D. Levins of Michigan and Andrea D. Levins & her husband Kevin O’Connell of Braintree. She was the cherished grandmother of Marissa McDonough – Sloane & her husband Zachary of San Diego, Ashley of NYC & Cody Levins of Michigan, Derek McDonough of Braintree and Lucien & Nicole Levins of LA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton, Saturday morning at 10. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Fri. 4 to 8 PM.
