Dorothy Mae Wappes, 91 of Louisville, passed away on Saturday January 23, 2016 at the Masonic Home of Louisville. She was preceded in death by her husband Elvin Wappes, two sons; Steven and Kenneth Wappes, and a grandaughter Laura Russell Carter. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Russell, her granddaughters Cathy Tonn, and Stephanie Wappes, and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday January 27th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Owen Funeral Home- Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Funeral Service will be 10 a.m Thursday at the funeral home with entombment at Resthaven Memorial Park.
