Richard R. Farias, 73, passed away on Saturday January 23, 2016 at the Christopher House after a brief illness.
Richard was born in West Warwick Rhode Island on September 11, 1942 a son of the late Antonio and Rose (Simas) Farias.
He is survived by his sister, Beatrice Boutelle of New Jersey and his brother, Raymond Farias of Rhode Island; many nieces and nephews.
Richard was predeceased by his sister, Mary Farias; his brothers John, Daniel, Arthur, and twin brother Ronald Richard Farias; and his partner of many years Donald Cochran.
He worked for many years as an LPN at the Worcester State Hospital and the Belmont Home and the Christopher House. He enjoyed spending weekends at the beach in Ogunquit, Maine.
Funeral services are under the care of the CALLAHAN-FAY & CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A private burial will be held in the spring time.
