William R Quinn, Sr., 62, of Derry NH, passed away unexpectedly January 23, 2016. Born on February 6, 1953 in Cambridge, MA, he was a son of the late John and Bertha (Carpenter) Quinn, formerly of Lexington MA.
Bill was the IT and Fiscal Director for the Disabilities Rights Center of New Hampshire. In addition to ongoing research of his family tree, Bill loved traveling with his wife Linda, caring for his yard, and barbequing by the pool at family cook-outs where burning the chicken was a tradition. Bill was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, NE Historical & Genealogical Society, and Founders and Patriots of America. The many friends and colleagues he met over the past 20 years as an advocate and practitioner for those with both mental health and physical disabilities meant the world to him.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of almost 26 years, Linda Quinn, three children, Samantha (Quinn) Keith, William Quinn Jr, and Donald Quinn, two stepdaughters, Kelly Arsenault and Cristal Augusta, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, his three brothers, James, Thomas and Stephen, and their families, who will miss him dearly, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family here and abroad whom he adored. He was also “Dad” to their four legged child, Lilly. He was predeceased by his brothers John Quinn Jr and Michael Quinn.
