OUR LOVING MOTHER
ELISABETH GEORGETTE VALENTIN
July 27, 1927 – January 20, 2016
The circle of life is so much bigger than all of us. You are born, mature, and then die. Hopefully at some point you have created the life you wanted to live and have found love. Elisabeth Georgette Valentin, known as Mammy Gette, was born on July 27, 1927. Although she had her personal engagements, Mammy Gette had always devoted her entire life to the well-being of the family. Her happiness was to see her children growing up, to know her grandchildren, her great grandchildren, and she felt great satisfaction to observe them blossoming and carrying on all she had instilled in all of them. She had taught us, from the youngest to the oldest the real value of life that would make us true models for our own children. We believe that our mother embodied goodness, respect, courage, and now she is peacefully resting in God’s embrace. I do firmly believe that we are all going to be reunited in heaven for eternity in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
