Rosemary Luchansky of Olyphant passed away Jan. 23 in the Mid Valley Healthcare Center.
Born in Olyphant, daughter of the late Andrew and Helen Mesick Luchansky, she was educated in the Olyphant schools. A member of Holy Cross Parish, she was a retired employee of Specialty Records, where she was employed for more than 50 years. She will be missed by all relatives and so many friends.
Surviving are a brother, George and wife, Julie Luchansky and son, Andrew, Olyphant; a sister-in-law, Madeline Luchansky and son, Mark, Peckville; a niece, Linda and husband, Rick Horan, Clarks Summit; and a nephew, John Luchansky and wife, Mary, Throop.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, John and Elmer; and a nephew, Thomas Luchansky Jr.
Funeral services will be Thursday with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick's Church, Olyphant. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant. Those attending the funeral are asked to proceed directly to church. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Blakely.
