JAMES JOSEPH “JIM” BECK, 67, passed away on January 24, 2016.
He was a former employee of Furniture Liquidators and Smith’s Furniture and a lifelong baseball and softball coach.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Jim and Angela Beck; and his brother, Tony Beck.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 47 years, Barbara (Loran) Beck; his children, Channa Beck Newman (Chad) and Chad Beck (Tina); grandchildren, Caleb and Carleigh Newman and Kendall, Kylee and Tyler Beck; and his brothers, Thomas Beck, William “Bill” Beck and John Beck (Lorraine).
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with cremation to follow.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
