Obituary

Glenn E. LeBlond, 53, of Second Ave. Woonsocket died Monday at home.
Born and raised in Woonsocket he was the son of Charles L. LeBlond and Pauline (Turcotte) LeBlond. He was a lifelong resident of the city.
Glenn attended Woonsocket schools. He had a special love of music. The memorable sounds of the 70s and early 80s, inducing the Eagles, Boston, Pink Floyd and many others, were the rhythm of Glenn’s life. It is more than just coincidence that Glenn went to that “Tequila Sunrise” on the same day with one of his idols Glenn Frey. Most of all Glen was just an all-around good guy and will be remembered for his love for family and friends.
Glenn is survived by his dad Charles LeBlond of Woonsocket and his brother Michael D. LeBlond and his wife, Barbara, of Oakland and his sister Lisa J. LeBlond of Chepachet. He was the proud uncle of Jennifer LeBlond, Jillian Mitchell and Lauran Lavigne and their families.
In honor and recognition of Glenn’s courageous lifelong battle with epileptic seizures memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of New England 540 Gallivan Blvd. 2nd Fl. Boston, MA. 02124.
Services and burial will be private. Arrangements are by the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket.
