Josephine R. (Rogers) Lomba, 99, of New Bedford died Sunday January 17, 2016 at Sacred Heart Home. She was the wife of the late James Lomba.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Frank and Augusta (Cardoza) Rogers, she lived in California for many years before returning to the New Bedford area.
Mrs. Lomba had been a hairdresser at her home salon in Dartmouth.
She loved dancing, shopping, and listening to jazz music.
Survivors include two children, Janice Rose of New Bedford, and Joseph Senna of North Port, FL; her stepchildren, Barbara Fernandes and Brenda Monteiro, both of New Bedford; her siblings, Henry Rogers, Mary Brown, Cynthia DeBarros, and Cheryl DaCosta; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Donald Rose, Jeanne Davis, and Kenneth Rose.
