Gail Irene (Kramer) Williams, of Medford, formerly of Arlington, beloved spouse and best friend of David C. Williams, passed away at her home with David by her side on Sunday afternoon, January 10, 2016. She was 61 years old. Born in Portland, Oregon, she was the daughter of Charlotte (Greene) Kramer and the late Clarence M. Kramer. Mrs. Williams was a graduate of William Paterson University where she earned her Masters Degree in Music Education. Gail’s entire life was dedicated to art and the creation of heirloom quality musical instruments with her partner David at their company Williams Flutes. Gail had many talents and was a world class hand-engraver. Above all, Gail was a very devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be profoundly missed. Besides her husband, David, she is survived by her loving children: David Peter and his wife Ming-Chun Williams of Columbia, Maryland and Grace I. Williams of Seattle, Washington. She is also sorely missed by her siblings; Michael and his wife Jean Kramer of Burien, Washington, Robyn and her husband Jack Som of Ridgefield, Washington as well as Kim and his wife Janis Kramer of Portland, Oregon. Her grandchildren; Claire and Evan Williams also miss their Meemaw. Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 23rd from 1pm to 4pm at the Brannen Flute Company in Woburn, MA.
