Jones and his wife Teresa of New York City and Nancy Ellen Jones of Seattle, WA. Grandmother of Julia Jones of New York City and Annalee Jones of Seattle. sister of Clyde McMurdy of Wayne NJ.
Ann’s journey began on West 70th St in New York City where as a child she shadowed her grampa at work and learned how to drive, with the aid of a phone book booster seat and parked cars for his busy garage at the tender age of 14. In the company of her gramma, aunt, and brother she enjoyed summers at Jones Beach and Packanack Lake.
Ann was fun and outgoing and whose adventures included learning to shoot pool with Willie Mosconi, competitive bowling, and sharing that passion by teaching bowling to the blind. As a wife and a mother she treasured family and passed down a rich history of recipes, photographs, and traditions. She loved to travel with her family exploring new terrains, foods and wines. She never missed an opportunity to celebrate the richness of life and family.
Funeral services will be held privately. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Ann’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
