Robert F. Knight, 88, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016 at Baptist Hospital.
He was a native of Russellville, Kentucky served in the Army Air Corp 43rd Air Supply Squadron and retired from General Electric Co. after 34 years of service.
He was a member of Lynnhurst United Church of Christ, Sunset Masonic Lodge # 915, and American Legion Post 220.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Nadine F. Crenshaw; his grandson, David S. Escher; his parents, Herman and Ellie Knight; four brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include his daughters, Barbara (Bill) Escher and Judy Sacksteder; as well as two grandsons, Kevin and Timothy Sacksteder; and one sister Carmen Wooden.
Funeral service will be Friday 12:00 Noon at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation will be Friday 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon, funeral time.
