Toby Auston Waldo, age 75, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in Coffeeville, MS. He was born in Coffeeville on September 5, 1940 to the late Andrew Jackson Sr. and Edna Vastie French. Toby enjoyed repairing cars, camping, skiing, racing, and spending time with his family and friends. He adored his wife, Iva Lee, and on Saturday, January 23rd, they would have celebrated 56 years together.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Due to inclement weather, funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 24, 2016 in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Phillip Cook officiating. Burial will be in the Elam Cemetery in Yalobusha County, MS with Jason Waldo, Jason Adams, Grady Bradshaw, Shawn Hughes, Chapel Waldo and Terry Denney serving as pallbearers. Chuck Cole, Jackie Waldo and Arthur Thomas will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Toby is survived by his wife, Iva Lee Denney Waldo of Coffeeville, MS; his daughter, Rhonda Waldo of Mercer, TN; two sons, James Waldo of Moncks Corner, SC and Cliff Waldo of Coffeeville, MS; his grandchildren, Grady Carter, Sandy Carter, Hanna Waldo, Cindy Goodwin, Laura Goodwin, Austin Waldo, and Drake Waldo-Smith; his great grandchildren, Trista Martin and Ava Hutchens.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Waldo Carter; and his great-grandson, Jaxon Hutchens.
