Obituary

Allenstown– James Arthur Ringenwald, “Ringy” 58, died peacefully in his sleep Saturday morning after an extended period of failing health..
Born in on December 5, 1957, he was the only son of Harold and Agnes (Boissonneault) Ringenwald of Manchester.
He attended the Amoskeag School, then graduated from Manchester High School West in 1976.
He was employed by the Department of Transportation for many years. He was an expert mechanic, and could often be working on a friend or relative’s car, his Harley Davidson motorcycle, or his Merrimack River party boat.
He was a member of many Manchester clubs through the years, including the Sons of the American Legion, The Davignon, and the Canadian Club. He even held the title of President of the Merrimack Legion.
Family members include his son, Robert E. Ringenwald of Seabrook, a sister, Carol D. Labbe of Manchester, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial reception will take place on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 during the reception.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
