Franklin----Bertha Louise Oros 102, of 29 Baldwin Street, died peacefully Friday, January 15, 2016 at Franklin Regional Hospital.
Bertha was born August 25, 1913 in Eagle Lake, Maine, daughter to the late Louis and Edna (Saucier) Devoe. Bertha worked as the executive secretary for Garret Air Research in Torrance, California for over ten years. After retiring in 1978, she travelled throughout the U.S. and all over the world and she was an avid golfer. In 2004 she moved back to New Hampshire to be closer to her family.
Bertha is survived by a step-son, Richard A. Oros of Anderson, Ca and her sister Theresa Vallee of Franklin, as well as many nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her first husband, Henri Roy; her second husband, Lewis Oros; her two brothers, Edwin Devoe and Leonard Devoe and her sister, Irene Palmer.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House entrance.
Burial will be in the family lot in Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, California at a later date.
