Loving & devoted Dad to Robyn Forman & her husband Eric of Burlington & Sheri Tarr of New York. Enormously proud & loving Grandpa to Brad & Scott Hickox. Devoted brother of Ralph Tarr of Framingham & the late Roberta “Ruthie” Selbovitz & Paul “Sonny” Tarr. Caring brother in law of Zoe Tarr, Libby Tarr & Septimeo “Tim” Murray & uncle of many nieces & nephews. He is also survived by three former wives: Elaine, Carmen & Joanne with whom he enjoyed many years of companionship & love. Barry was an Army Captain who upon discharge pursued his education earning undergraduate & graduate degrees in education. He spent the majority of his career as an Adjustment Counselor in the City of Cambridge Public Schools. Funeral service to held Monday January 18 at the Torf Funeral Chapel 151 Washington Ave., Chelsea at 12PM followed by burial in the Chevra Mishna Cemetery Lakeshore Rd. Lynn. Following interment the family will be sitting Shiva at the Jack Satter House 420 Revere Beach Blvd., Revere from 3-8PM.
