Letitia A. Kelley, 78

Letitia A. (O’Donnell) Kelley, age 78, of Mansfield, formerly of Dedham passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul V. Kelley.
Born in Brookline, MA on April 9, 1937, she was a loving daughter of the late James and Frances J. (Doherty) O’Donnell. She grew up in Brookline and was a 1955 graduate of St. Mary of the Assumption High School in Brookline.
Mrs. Kelley was a dedicated and gracious homemaker to adoring family. When younger she had worked for the New England Telephone Co. in Brookline and later at the Endicott Pharmacy in Dedham.
Tish had made her home in Mansfield for the past 7 years and had formerly resided in Dedham for many years. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield, where she also belonged to the Catholic Women’s Club. While residing in Dedham, Mrs. Kelley was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Dedham.
Tish’s other involvements included being a former member of the Emblem Club in Norwood, and she enjoyed volunteering her assistance to others at both the Mansfield and Dedham Food Pantries.
Her happiest times spent were those amongst family and friends, especially with her grandchildren who will always remember her with fondness as “cookie”. Another favorite time of hers, were the summers spent at the family home in West Dennis.
Tish was truly loved by her family and friends she made throughout her life while living in Brookline, Dedham, West Dennis and most recently at Heron Crest in Mansfield, where a favorite time to socialize was while crocheting.
She is survived by her loving and devoted daughters Karen M. Barone and her husband Tom of Framingham, Susan E. Kelley-Brian and her husband Ted of Mansfield and Janet E. Quinn and her husband Chris of Mansfield. She was the dear sister of Frances Macdonald of Appleton, Wisconsin, James O’Donnell of Marshfield, Thomas O’Donnell of Norwood, and the late Mary DeFilippo and Lillian Lopes. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Tommy and Christopher Barone, Konnor and Kelley Brian and Paul, Kyle and Leah Quinn, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Her funeral mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 19th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at Mount Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 18th from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
