Theresa B. Gazaille 92, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Raymond Gazaille. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Emma (Turgeon) Boisseau. Theresa was a hard working woman. She worked in several area mills throughout her life including Bancroft, Uniroyal, and CD Burns before retiring in 1980.
She spent a great part of her life growing her family tree. Theresa’s memory and spirit live on through her two sons, Arthur Gazaille of Woonsocket, and Roland Gazaille of Slatersville, four daughters Jeanne Poole of AZ, Connie Landry of Blackstone, Susan Marcotte of N. Attleboro, and Helen St. Laurent of Bellingham, twenty three grandchildren, fifty three great grandchildren, and thirty one great-great grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Robert Gazaille, Claire Limoges, and Rita Gazaille, and sister of the late David and Rene Boisseau, Emma Vermette, Irene Rondeau, and Cecile Robidoux.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Charles Church, North Main St. Woonsocket, burial will follow in St Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Thursday 4-7 PM.
