Paul B. Loughlin, 59, of Hudson, formerly of Marlboro, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 6th at Marlboro Hospital. He leaves his beloved wife of 15 years, Peggy R. (Huddleson) Anderson of Hudson.
Paul was born in Worcester, Son of the late Stephen and Joan (Richards) Loughlin. He was raised in Northboro where he attended local schools and was a graduate of Saint John’s High School in Shrewsbury. He was employed as a technician by the Waste Water Environmental Management Company of Chelmsford and Earth Source in Raynham for many years. Prior to Waste Water Environmental, he worked for Wind River Environmental Company in Hudson.
Paul enjoyed listening to music in his spare time and always looked forward to a good round of golf with his brothers and friends. He became an accomplished painter which was his passion, specializing in Acrylic Paintings. He cherished the times he shared with his family, especially with his step-children and later his step-grandson with whom he spent many hours cooking in the kitchen and swimming in the pool. He will always be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved him.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his two step-children, Shannon Colleton and her husband Phil of Worcester, Sean Anderson of Marlboro; his step-grandson, Ethan Colleton of Worcester; his four brothers, Dr. Stephen Loughlin and his wife Candace of Marlboro, Dr. Kevin Loughlin of Swampscott, Mark Loughlin of West Boylston, Bruce Loughlin and his wife Cynthia of Marlboro along with many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Jan. 16th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. followed by a service and celebration of Paul's life at 3:00 p.m.in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
