Karen DiRocco, a lifelong resident of Medford, died on Saturday, January 9, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital of Boston. She was the daughter of Joseph and Carolyn (Zuzolo) DiRocco of Medford. Karen was employed as a patent law secretary.
She was the cherished sister of Joseph DiRocco and his Fiancee Jessica of Buzzards Bay, Lisa DiRocco-Dunn, and MaryBeth DiRocco-Tufts and her husband Peter, all of Medford. Karen was the loving aunt of Nicholas, Summer, Olivia "Livi", Cody and Gia, and the dear niece of Jimmy DiRocco of Braintree. She is also survived by her cousins Stephen, Frankie, and Lynne, her best friend, AnnMarie "Chickie" Zocchi, and many more loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 14, in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family in the church for one hour prior to the mass. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
