Ann Jeanette "Jean" Dunn
April 28, 1948 to January 7, 2016
Ann Jeanette "Jean" Dunn, 67, passed peacefully of Ovarian Cancer at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, NY.
Jean was born to William and Margaret (McAtee) Dunn. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1966. After high school, Jean worked for St. John's Hospital as a lab technician before leaving for New York. She lived in Queens, retiring from Cardinal Pharmaceutical Company as a sales rep.
She enjoyed entertaining friends, boating in the Atlantic Ocean and visiting her friends in Albuquerque yearly. Once retired, she made her home with companion, Bill Cooper in Westhampton Beach, NY with her dog Bear, and her loveable stray cat, Kitty.
Survivors include brother, Richard "Dick" (Marilyn) Dunn of Anderson; niece, Nan (Tim) Bradberry, nephew, Steve (Lori) Dunn; great nieces, Whittney Bradberry (Companion Jason Stocklin); Brittney Kimmerer, great nephew, Ryan Bradberry, great-great niece, Ryleigh Kimmerer, great-great nephew, Levi Stocklin; and many friends in Westhampton, NY and Albuquerque.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Terry Dunn and brother, John Dunn.
Per Jean's wishes, her ashes are to be scattered over the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque, by her brother, Dick.
Cremation was handled by Follett & Werner Funeral Home.
Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service assisted with the local funeral arrangements.
