SALEM - Mary Louise Francis, 93, of Salem, wife of the late Donald J. Francis, died Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Aviv in Peabody, following a long illness.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Edward Hill and Mary (Hall) (Hill) Currier. A resident of North Salem for most of her life, she was a member of the Grace Church.
Mary was a stay at home mom, raising four sons. She also worked for a time at Webbers and part time at Daniel Low’s., both in Salem.
She is survived by her four sons, Wayne H. and his wife Susan Francis of Peabody, William B. and his wife Maria Francis and David W. Francis, all of Salem, Peter B. Francis of Middleton, four grandchildren, Kimberly Knight, Jennifer Gallagher, Andrew Francis, Michelle Francis, three great grandchildren, Kaylee Knight, Meghan Gallagher, Ryan Gallagher, one sister, Joan Breed of Lynn and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Sharon Francis.
In accordance with her wishes, private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem.
