Thomas J. Frawley, age 57, of Brockton formerly of Mansfield, died suddenly January 5, 2016 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. He was born and raised in Brockton son of Ann (Kilbridge) Frawley of Brockton and the late Donald R. Frawley, Sr. A 1976 graduate of Brockton High School, Tom also attended Massasoit Community College. Tom previously worked for Sun Chemical and McMenamy’s Fish Market for many years.
Tom loved watching all Boston sports teams with his sons and also enjoyed cooking, especially for his family. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality, gentleness and big heart. Tom’s true joy in life was his family, especially spending time with his sons.
Tom was the father of Thomas J. Frawley, Jr., Kenneth Frawley and Michael Frawley all of Mansfield. He was the brother of Mary Ryan and her husband James of Milton, Colleen Frawley of Quincy, Matthew Frawley of Dennisport, Annie Price and her husband Christopher of Lakeville, Donald Frawley, Jr. of Brockton and the late Alicia Frawley Riley and Colin P. Frawley. Tom was the former husband of Cynthia (Eckert) Frawley of Mansfield. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be held in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West Street, Brockton on Tuesday at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted.
