Bitetti and her husband Sam of Norwell and John P. “Jack” Duyon and his wife Lisa of Winthrop. Adored grandfather of Rory, Hayley, and Mackenzie Duyon, Sara, Sam, and Susan Bitetti, and Ryan and Tim Duyon. Dear brother of Dorothy “Dot” Cieszka-Dubrachek and her husband Cy of Deltona, FL, and the late Joseph and John “Jack” Duyon. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Mon, Jan. 11, at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will follow in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section). Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Sun, from 2-5pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to the Winthrop Council on Aging 35 Harvard St. Winthrop, MA. 02152. George was a WWII Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He was an honorary life member of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks #1078, past treasurer of the Knights of Columbus-Winthrop Council #162 and a member of the local AFL-CIO for the US Postal Union. George’s love of his life was his 65 year marriage to his wife Dorothy and his loving adoration for his grandchildren. He enjoyed baseball especially the Red Sox, a good card game, the couples bowling league at the Winthrop Elks, gardening for his tomato’s and refinishing furniture.
