Zakrie E. Willer, 17, of Fitzgerald, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, January 10, 2016, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Bobby Adkinson officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Saturday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Zak was born October 10, 1998, in Jacksonville, Florida, to John Willer and Gina Walker Flanagan, both of Jacksonville, Florida. He loved working with computers and had aspirations to be a gamer and software designer. He loved playing Pokemon and Dragonball and attended the Methodist church.
He is survived by his adoptive mother and grandmother: Vigene Braxton (Jamie Jordan) of Fitzgerald; brother, Bobby Braxton of Fitzgerald; sister, Faith Flanagan of Douglas; uncle, Dale Braxton of Abbeville; devoted aunt, Melinda Atkinson of Broxton; two nephews; several cousins; maternal grandmother, Mary Frances Knight of Americus. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, who helped raise him, Inez Fullwood.
