Ann Gallant, 98, of Hampstead passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Parkland Medical Center of Derry after a period of declining health. She was born October 29, 1917 in Judique, Cape Breton, Canada and was a daughter of the late John and Isabelle (MacIntyre) MacDougall. She was raised and educated in Judique and has been a resident of Hampstead for the past 41 years.
Ann enjoyed bowling when she was younger and loved to play cards. She was an avid Red Sox and Bruins fan and will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Members of the family include her son and his wife, Rendle and Barbara Gallant of Hampstead and her grandson Josh Gallant also of Hampstead. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Roy Gallant in 2004.
A Liturgy of Christian burial was celebrated Monday, January 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm at St. Anne’s Parish, 26 Emerson Avenue, Hampstead, NH and was conclude with burial at Lakeview Cemetery, Kent Farm Rd. in Hampstead. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Caregivers of Greater Derry, 1 B Commons Drive #10 Londonderry, NH 03053.
