Birk, Lawrence Patrick
84 of Louisville passed away Wednesday January 6, 2016 at Baptist Health.
Born in Louisville Mr. Birk was a retired Asbestos worker by trade, and a Carpenter; he was a member
of the Ancient Order or the Hibernians, the Local 51 Asbestos Workers, an Auto Enthusiast and a
Kentucky Colonel. He is survived
By his children Evelyn, John, Michael, and Bill Birk,; and Kathy Birk Self. Eight Grandchildren and
Seventeen Great Grandchildren.
His Funeral Service will be 7 pm Friday January 8, 2016 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown
9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be Friday from 2-7 pm at the Funeral Home.
