Judith A. Kilgar-Ng, 57, formerly of Worcester, died peacefully on December 14th in Poland, OH. She leaves a daughter Jolanda Lucier and her husband, Matthew of Worcester; three sons, Benjamin Ng and his wife, Melissa of Worcester; Cliff Kilgar and Tony Rice of Poland, Ohio; her mother Avery LaPrade of Worcester; her brother Christopher Kilgar and his wife Christine and her brother David Kilgar; one sister Anita St. Laurent and her husband Ronald, all of Worcester. She also leaves five grandchildren: Destinee, Madison, and Brody Lucier and Sophia Ng, all of Worcester; and Jasmine Williams of Poland, Ohio.
Judy, as she was known, was born in Worcester the daughter of Weldon Kilgar and Avery (Foss) LaPrade. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, was a passionate gardener, and owned her own landscaping company for many years. Judy loved being at the beach and soaking up the sun, and spent most of her summers at Salisbury Beach. She liked to ride Harley-Davidsons, wear her leather jackets, and also loved to cook, bake, and care for her many beloved cats and dogs over the years. While well known to freely speak her mind, she always offered a helping hand to those in need, and volunteered her time to the local food bank in Ohio. Judy loved spending time with friends and family and will be greatly missed.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 12th from 4:00-6:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 5:45 PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Worcester County Food Bank, 474 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
