Sandra May Weston, 79, of Derry, NH, passed away on December 21, 2015 at Villa Crest Nursing Home, Manchester. Sandra was born on September 27, 1936, a daughter of the late Charles A. Putney and Grace E. (Pike) Putney. Sandra graduated from Pinkerton Academy class of 1955. She was employed at Derry Shoe for 19 years and later retired from Textron. Sandra was a member of St. Luke’s Methodist Church, a member of the Seniors of Londonderry as well as a member of the Red Hat Society of Londonderry and Hudson.
Sandy will be dearly missed by her beloved daughter, Wanda Staples Dumas and her husband, Sylvain, of Montreal, granddaughter, Davina Tapper and great grandson Magnus, who live in Australia, and her sister Carol Nugent, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family, Linda Weston and family.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. A funeral followed on Friday at 10:00 in the Funeral Home. Interment followed in Forest Hill Cemetery.
