TAUNTON – Angelina Leonor (Cesar) Faria, wife of the late Jose Faria, died at Lifecare Center of Raynham on Jan. 3, 2016.
She was 95 years old.
Born in Faial, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Joao R. and Olivia (Pereira) Faria.
She moved to this area in 1974 and worked as a housekeeper for Marian Manor for eight years, retiring in 1982.
A communicant of St. Anthony Church, she enjoyed music, animals and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two sons, Manuel G. Faria and his wife Silvina and Alberto I. Faria and his wife Maria, all of Taunton; two daughters, Maria P. Martins and her husband Jorge of Faial, Azores and Alda M. Duarte and her husband Eduviges of Taunton; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Jose A. Faria and Serafim P. Faria, and the sister of the late Jose Faria Pereira, Serafim Faria Pereira and Maria Adelaide Faria. Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Saturday, Jan. 9th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Anthony Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 8th from 5 to 8 p.m.
