Obituary

Atty. L. Barry Tinkoff, 83, of Dartmouth died January 2, 2016 at home.
He was the husband of Margaret Anne (Charade) Fredette.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Milton and Ida (Gorodinsky) Tinkoff.
He was a graduate of Cheshire Academy, New York University - University Heights, and Boston University School of Law.
Atty. Tinkoff had a private law practice in Fall River until his retirement. He had served as Assistant District Attorney for Bristol County and the Islands from 1964-1968, and was Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Cape and the Islands from 1970-1972.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lions Club and Mount Hope Lodge A.F. & A.M. He was a member and past president of the Exchange Club of Fall River and president of A.A.R.P. Chapter in Daytona, FL.
Survivors include his wife; 2 sons, Milton E. Tinkoff and his wife Shelley of San Francisco, CA, and Roger L. Tinkoff and his wife Holly of Piedmont, CA; a sister, Rhonda S. Tinkoff of Boca Raton, FL; and a granddaughter, Zofi R. Tinkoff.
His private Graveside Service was held Tuesday, January 5th in the Hebrew Cemetery in Fall River.
