Michael Anthony DiMauro, passed away on December 31, 2015 with his family at his bedside at his residence in Ventura.
Born April 21, 1960 in Glendale, California he has been a Ventura County resident for the last 30 years.
He started to play drums professionally at the young age of 15. Recently he performed at some local spots including the BanDar, and more recently in the band Iron Butterfly Revival at Amigo’s Surf Cantina, Bombay’s Bar and Grill and was known for his drum solo in “In A Gadda Da Vida”.
Michael owned and operated Gold Coast Realty Homes in Ventura County. He was a dedicated Realtor and took pride in providing the best personalized service to all his customers.
Michael was an avid golfer, he loved music (especially the drums), he enjoyed meditation, pursing yoga, piloting airplanes, scuba diving, motorcycles and was a devout communicant our the San Buenaventura Roman Catholic Mission, Ventura.
Michael loved spending time with family and friends.
He was devoted to his loving wife Michele and always spoke of her with such a deep affection, that was his "Boo-Boo".
He leaves his beloved wife of 21 years, Michele DiMauro; as step son Spencer Klindt of Ojai ; step-daughters Shelby Klindt of Ojai and Jennifer Pollakov and her husband Ernie Longoria; his parents Richard and Wanda DiMauro; a brother Larry DiMauro of Louisiana; a sister Laura Vantress of Campbell, California; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Friday January 8, 2016 at 11:30am in San Buenaventura Roman Catholic Mission, Main Street Ventura.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his name may be made to the Statue Restoration Project of the San Buenaventura Mission, 211 Main Street Ventura, CA 93001.
