Harold E. “Harry” Miller, 86, of Derry, NH passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry. He was born on August 1, 1929 in Lawrence, MA, a son of the late Walter and Elsie May (Neff) Miller. Harry proudly served his country in the US Army. He retired from Raytheon after 40 years. He loved fishing, gardening and sports, especially the New England Teams.
He is survived by his wife Claudia(Aguiar) Miller, one son, Gary Miller and his wife Debra, three daughters, Darryl Martineau, Tammy Kevlik and Victoria Hull; eight grandchildren, Paul, Shawn, Scott, Amy, Brian, Kyle, Hayley and Corey, 11 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his former wife Beverly Miller and his five siblings.
A Calling hour was held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 10-11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry with a funeral service that began at 11am in the funeral home. Burial followed in the Bellevue Cemetery, 170 May St., Lawrence, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Caregivers, 1B Commons Drive, Londonderry, NH 03053.
