Obituary

Norman Arthur Bradley, age 85, formerly of Hyannisport, died on Jan.1, 2016 at the Village at Duxbury. He was the devoted husband of Jean M. (Gallagher) Bradley of Duxbury. Born in West Newton on February 17, 1930, Norman was the son of the late Archibald and May (Powers) Bradley. He was educated in Newton, a graduate of Newton Trade School. . He then entered the US Navy where he proudly served during the Korean Conflict. For most of his life Mr. Bradley worked as Plumber for the Plumbers Union Local # 12 He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Besides leaving his wife Jean, he was the loving father of Norman, Jr and his wife Jean of Manomet, Raymond Bradley of Mesa, AZ, and Stephen Bradley and his partner Kim McNeil of Northbridge, MA. He was the beloved brother of Charles Bradley and his wife Elizabeth of Winthrop, MA and his sister-in-law Ruth O’Rourke of Wellesley, MA. He was the cherished grandfather of Daniel, Paul and Bryan Bradley and great-grandfather of Anthony Bradley. Visitation will take place in the Davis Funeral & Cremation Home, 619 State Rd., Manomet (Plymouth) on Wednesday, Jan.6th, 2016 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a graveside service in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 11;30 a.m. Donations in his memory may be made to the Homeless Veterans of Boston, 150 S.
