Joseph P. Neary, Jr., 65 of Londonderry, NH died Thursday December 31, 2015 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH. Joe was born in Boston, MA on September 23, 1950, a son of the late Joseph P. Neary, Sr. and Helen (Murphy) Neary. He had resided in Londonderry for the past five years, formerly living in Tewksbury and Charlestown, MA. Joe retired from Frito Lay where he had been employed for many years.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Karen (Harris) Neary of Londonderry, his step-daughters, Kim Donovan and her family, Shawn and Emily Todorov, and Kerry Donovan and her family, Mark, Nicholas and Jessica DiMarzio. He also leaves his two daughters, Lisa R. Walczak and her family, Derek and Deacon, and Julie A. Mejia and her family, Marisa and Brandon, his brother, Robert Neary of Tewksbury, MA, and sister, Ellen Hooper and her husband Thomas of Windham, NH.
Following cremation, friends called from 10 – 11:30am on Tuesday January 5, 2016 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A brief celebration of Joe’s life was shared at 11:30am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd., Merrimack, NH 03054.
