Lynch, Mayanne of Westwood, formerly of Dedham, December 24, 2015. After a long illness, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of 56 years of the late John H. Lynch of Westwood. Devoted mother of John H. Lynch, Jr. and his wife Joanne of Westwood, Bruce D. Lynch of Dover, Brian D. Lynch of Huntington Beach, CA, Kathleen M. Lynch of Dover, and Peter J. Lynch of Westwood. Loving grandmother of John H. Lynch, III and his wife Kathryn of Medfield, Patrick W. Lynch of Quincy, and Michael F. and Matthew W. Lynch, both of Westwood. Adoring great grandmother of Jack Lynch of Medfield. Dear sister of Sheila Sugrue and her husband James of Franklin, the late John F. Murray and his surviving wife Bette of Dedham, the late James Murray of Hanover, NH, and the late Neal T. Murray of Yarmouth Port. Cherished sister-in-law of Abbie M. Lynch and William Bergen, both of Westwood. Also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Mayanne was a graduate of Dedham High School and Lasell College; fan of all of Boston sports teams, and never happier than the time she spent with her family in East Dennis.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 456 High St. DEDHAM, Tuesday morning at 10:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Denis Church, WESTWOOD, at 11:30 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours, at the funeral home, on Monday from 4-8pm. Interment will follow at New Westwood Cemetery, Westwood.
