Michelle Renee Fox (nee Chaudier) of Ventura passed away peacefully but unexpectedly in her sleep at home in Ventura on December 27th; she was 51 years
Michelle was a lifetime resident of Ventura, born in Ishpeming, Michigan to John and Jacquelin Chaudier. Michelle was the middle child of three children in her
family, attending public schools in Ventura and graduating from Buena High
School, Ventura in the Class of 1982. She attended Ventura College and cosmetology school; during college and after Michelle was a licensed cosmetologist.
Michelle was the wife of Brian Fox of Ventura. They met in 1987, were married in
1990, and resided for the entirety of their twenty-five years of marriage in Ventura. Brian and Michelle have one child, their son Hunter, age 17.
During her marriage, Michelle worked for 13 years as a front office secretary for
Vance, Thrift and Biller, CPAs in Ventura, for 12 years in various Ventura dental practices, and for many years as a secretary in her husband’s law practice.
Michelle was both industrious and reliable in all she did. At the time of her passing Michelle was employed as the office manager for the dental practices of
Dr. Royce Young and Dr. Joann Tran in Ventura, and as a part-time legal secretary in her husband’s law practice. Michelle loved her employers and her jobs.
God’s gift to Michelle was her extraordinary people skills, which she used daily both personally and in her employment in the professional offices where she worked. Her warmth, her pretty smile and laugh, her cheerful demeanor, and her remarkable ability to remember the personal details of all whom she met will be remembered as among her greatest assets in life.
Michelle was a truly devoted daughter, sister, wife, and mother to her family. She had no deeper loves in her life than her love of God, her parents, her siblings, her husband, and her son Hunter.
Michelle was an outstanding mother to Hunter, helping him in his schooling, sports, community service, church, and social activities. Their bonds as mother and son were deep.
Michelle was raised and confirmed in, and was a lifetime member of Grace Lutheran Church (LCMS) in Ventura, participating regularly with her family in all of the ordinary activities of their church.
She is survived by her husband and her son Brian Fox and Hunter Fox, by her father and her mother John Chaudier and
Jacquelin Chaudier, by her sister Melissa Strain (Tom Strain), by her brother Michael Chaudier, and by her niece and nephew Sierra Strain and Cameron Strain,
all of Ventura.

4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 7, 2016, and from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM,
Friday, January 8, 2016 at the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME Ventura. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Paul Koch at Grace Lutheran Church in Ventura at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 9, 2016, with lunch reception at the church following the services. Cremation and private interment by the family will be held at a later date.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours to be held on Thursday January 7, 2016 from 4 to 8pm in the JOSPEH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street Ventura. Visiting hours will also be on Friday evening in the Funeral Home from 6 to 10pm. A Memorial Liturgy will be at 11am on Saturday January 9, 2016 in Grace Lutheran Church, 6190 Telephone Road Ventura.
