Lona Aria (Price) Decker, 93, of Anderson, died Monday, December 28, 2015 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following extended illnesses
She was born on November 15, 1922 in Cullman, Alabama the daughter of Walter M and Gertrude (DeFore) Price. She was a hairdresser for many years at La Dee Deck Beauty Shop. She was also employed at Delco Remy and Park Place School Cafeteria.
She was a member of Park Place Church of God for many years and was active with Body Life, as an usher, and preparing church and funeral dinners. She was also a member of two Birthday Clubs, Christian Women and TOPS.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula (Ronald) Cline of Ravenna, OH, 5 grandchildren; Mark (Robin) Kridler, Aria Ann (Neil) Fraser, Michelle Decker, Jill (Ryan) Hundrieser, and Matt (Chelsey) Decker. 6 great grandchildren: Cody Fleenor, Brandon Fleenor, Dakota Kridler, Samantha Kridler, Deianira Fraser and Jacob Hundrieser; Step grandchildren; Billy Cline, Amy Marin, Cathy Hartung and Jill McQuery and many step great grandchildren; a daughter in law, Joyce Decker Bois, a brother in law, James Curtis Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul E. Decker, a son, Dennis Decker, two sisters Opal Thomas and Lela Johnson and two brothers Clyde and Louis Price.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11 AM at Park Place Church of God. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 1, 2016 from 2 to 6 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service and also one hour prior to the funeral at the church.

Because Aria was always concerned for others, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Park Place Church of God Food Pantry in lieu of flowers.
