Obituary

Groton - Sean Edward Lotring, 27, died unexpectedly at home in Groton Long Point.

He is survived by his parents Arnie and Kathy (Morrow) Lotring, sister Heather, brother-in-law Demetrius and nephew Dominic. He is also survived by his Grandmother Bonnie Morrow and Uncle Dewayne Morrow of Galax VA; Cynthia (Morrow), Johnny, Hannah and John Trujillo of Grandy, NC; Agustie (Lotring) John and Ian Haskell of Jewett City, CT; Barton, Christi, Michael and McKenzie Haskell of Plainville, CT; Amy (Lotring), Bill, Will and Maddie Shaw of Westbrook CT.

He lived and traveled around the country growing up but called Groton Long Point home. He graduated from Fitch High School and Keene State College. He loved snowboarding, water skiing, hiking, boating, playing and listening to his music. Most of all, he cherished his time with his friends around the country attending music festivals and concerts. He is remembered for his red beard, big smile, generous heart, outgoing personality, humor and constant desire to enjoy life.

Sean’s family will great relatives and friends on Saturday, January 9th from 2 to 4pm at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. A Celebration of his life will immediately follow at the funeral home from 4 to 5:00 pm. The family will have a private burial.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sean’s memory may be made to the USO of Hampton Roads and Central Virginia (USOHRCV) P. O. Box 7250 Hampton VA 23666.
