Erdine Phyllis Hagerty, 93

Erdine Phyllis (Josselyn) Hagerty, age 93, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the Forestview Nursing Home in Wareham.
She was the beloved wife of the late John E. Hagerty, to whom she was wed for 64 years at the time of his death in 2006.
Born in Walpole, MA on March 19, 1922, she was a loving daughter of the late Edgar and Clementina (Scott) Josselyn.
Phyllis was educated in Foxboro and Mansfield schools. She had made her home in Mansfield for over eighty years and was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family.
Mrs. Hagerty loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her pet dogs. Phyllis’s interests included shopping, attending yard sales, bird watching, winters spent in Port Charlotte, Florida and attending family barbeques.
She is survived by her devoted children Diane E. Vicino and her husband Francis of Wareham, John E. Hagerty, Jr. of Attleboro and Joyce E. Hammond and her husband Robert of Port Charlotte, Florida. She was the dear sister of the late Madolyn Enos and Lola Marie Josselyn. She is also survived by her cherished 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday, January 2nd at 11:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield. Burial will follow at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 1st from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
