Worcester—Phyllis E. (Curran) Zibinskas, 57, formerly of Pleasant St., died June 7, 2005, in Marlborough Hills Nursing Home. She leaves her former husband, Robert J. Zibinskas of Worcester; a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel R. and Emily Zibinskas of Duxbury; a sister, Carolyn Audette of Gilbertville; and several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was born in Waltham, daughter of Bernard F. and Mary G. (Madden) Curran. She was raised in Worcester and graduated from Burncoat High School. She owned and operated Curran’s Footwear in Holden for many years with her former husband. The company was founded by Phyllis and her father and was a Holden landmark for 27 years. She enjoyed her family, her dogs, decorating, and outdoor activities.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angell Memorial Animal Hospital at MSPCA–Angell, 350 South Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
