Frances E. (Petrusonis) Murray, a long-time Medford resident, died after a long illness in Asheville, North Carolina. She was 85.
Mrs. Murray was born and raised in Cambridge, the daughter of the late John and the late Elizabeth Petrusonis. A Medford resident for over 54 years, Frances worked nearly 25 years with the office of the Secretery of State for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the corporations division. She was also a devoted parishoner at at Saint Joseph Church.
She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas R. Murray, Jr. She was a devoted mother to Barbara Black of Asheville, NC, Janice Hussey of Palm Harbor, FL, Thomas R. Murray, III of Medford, and Joanne Baiungo of Henderson, NV. She was a loving grandmother to 8 loving grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was a dear sister of the late Albert Petrusonis.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday, June 11, at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Friday 7 - 9 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
