LEONARD " LENNY" AREMKA, 56, returned to his heavenly father on Tuesday, December 22, 2015.
He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and relocated to Louisville. He was a huge "Chicago Bears" fan who loved boating and camping. He loved life and also loved being with family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Angie DeCore Aremka;
his children, Jennifer Trpkovski (Russ) and Dave Aremka (Amanda); stepchildren, Sean Smith (Stephanie), and Courtney Deddens; grandchildren, Kaeden, Giovanni, Kapri and Kiley; his parents, Leonard and Marlene Aremka; siblings, Laura Tworek (Randy) and Jimmy Aremka (Wendy) and was a loving uncle, nephew and cousin to many.
Lenny was very excited and looking forward to the blessed birth of his grandson due New Year’s Day, his daughter Jennifer’s first child.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m. at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace.
Visitation will be Saturday 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
Services will be held at a later date at St. Francis deSales Catholic Parish in Lake Zurich, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the "St. Francis Friary," c/o Incarnation Catholic Church.
