TEWKSBURY - Mrs. Patricia Mary (Carline) DiBiase, age 77, a well known resident of Tewksbury for over five decades, died peacefully Tuesday morning, December 22, at Life Care of Merrimack Valley in North Billerica, surrounded by her family, after a courageous five year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was the beloved wife of Cosmo J. “Cosie” DiBiase, with whom she had celebrated a 57th wedding anniversary this past November 21st.
Pat was born in Salem, Mass., a daughter of the late Charles and Ellen “Nellie” (Cardinal) Carline, and was raised in Billerica. She graduated from the Howe High School with the Class of 1956.
Pat and Cosie raised their family in Tewksbury, and summered on the Nubble at York Beach. They moved to York, Maine, in 2000 after her retirement from Massachusetts General Hospital, where she was the education coordinator for the Anesthesia Department.
Besides her husband she leaves a son, A. Joseph and his wife Joanna DiBiase of Newburyport; a daughter, Patricia M. Connors and her husband Robert of Tewksbury; three beloved grandchildren, Julia DiBiase, Caterina DiBiase and Robert Connors Jr.; a sister, Eleanor Andrews of Hampton Beach, NH; a brother, Charles Carline of Seabrook, NH; a brother-in-law, Raymond Campbell who was husband of her sister, the late Elizabeth “Bette” Campbell; many nieces and nephews; and was also predeceased by her brother Joseph Carline.
Visiting hours Sunday, Dec. 27, from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Street, TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950. Her funeral will begin Monday, Dec. 28, at 10:30 from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury. Burial will be in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
