Obituary

Veronica “Ronnie” (Olsavitch) Grusheski, 93, of Walpole, died December 20 in Elmhurst Transitional Care in Providence. She was the wife of the late Walter Grusheski.
Born in Norwood, December 10, 1922, the daughter of the late John and Minnie (Gill) Olsavitch, Mrs. Grusheski was raised in Norwood and had lived in Walpole since 1954.
She had been a telephone operator for the New England Telephone Company for 38 years before retiring in 1984.
Ronnie had been a member of the Walpole Country Club for 58 years and also a member the Pioneers Club of America.
She enjoyed gardening, mowing the lawn, and doting on her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Gail Guaspari and son- in- law John Guaspari of North Attleboro.
She is also survived by her grandson, Michael Guaspari of New York City and her granddaughter Joanna Clifton and Joanna’s husband Robert Clifton of Bedford, New Hampshire.
Ronnie is also survived by her sister Olga Kinsman of Natick and was the sister of the late Ann Wincick and Helen Goba.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 29 from the Ginley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 892 Main Street, Walpole at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Timothy’s Church in Norwood at 10:00
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
A bereavement reception will follow at Walpole Country Club,233 Baker Street, Walpole.
Visiting hours will be on Monday, December 28 from 5-8 p.m.at the Ginley Funeral Home in Walpole.
